eClimber: inclusion in climbing

The eClimber is a newly developed self-belay device for top rope climbing. It provides adjustable weight relief, thus facilitating access to climbing sports. In this project, we examine the possibility of a connection with university sports.

This cooperation would enable students and employees with disabilities to benefit from an extended range of sports activities. In addition, public climbing sessions and offers for social institutions could be set up to give access to the innovative device to people outside the higher education world. The aim is to spread our passion for climbing and make its mental and physical benefits accessible to a wider audience.
