Along-term, sustainable transformation is needed to establish a viable economic system and overcome social, ecological and economic challenges. Economics is animportant lever: the economy should operate within a social framework and must serve social goals. It is also important that the economy helps us stay within planetary boundaries and does not overexploit natural resources. In a series of lectures in spring 2024, students learned how pluralistic economics can contribute to a sustainable transformation.
