This inspiring annual event brings together students, staff and changemakers from across the higher education for sustainability community.

For 2025 we will be based in the spectacular Belgian city of Ghent and hosted by the long-established (2015) Green Office Ghent.

The summit core theme, 'mobilizing student leadership for environmental justice' aims to equip and empower students to lead, influence and change in their higher education institutions.

Tracts:

Summit Keynotes, presentation or workshop sessions and panel events will resonate with the core theme of the summit, with specific sessions being focussed on the below thematic tracts.

1. Sustainability on campus
2. Transforming learning and education for sustainability
3. Climate justice and equity in practice in higher education
4. Campaigning and advocacy for climate and environmental justice
5. Living well in the Anthropocene

Information:

• Please note the summit 'core-days' are Thursday 8th and Friday 9th May 2025.
• On the evening of Wednesday 7th May there will be a social and meal available for those arriving the day prior to the summit. This will be available to purchase soon as an add-on here on Eventbrite.
• On Saturday 10th May, we invite you to join us for an inspiring sustainability journey through Ghent, a city known for its vibrant culture of sustainability and joyous rebellion. This tour is available as an add-on ticket. Please note, approximate timings are 10:00 - 14:00 CET.
